Kara Silvia Taylor
Kara Silvia Taylor, founder of Taylor Admissions Consulting, has over 10 years experience in the field of education. A former Assistant Director of Admissions at Northeastern University and Admissions Counselor at Boston University, Kara has the advantage of having been on the other side of the admissions process. She was responsible for the recruitment of high school students from Latin America, the Caribbean, and territories within New England. Not only did she read thousands of applications over the years, but she conferred with the admissions team to make informed evaluations and admissions decisions.
She knows what colleges and universities are looking for in potential students and knows how to help high school students best showcase their candidacy in the schools of their choice.
Kara graduated from Boston University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in communications and earned her master's degree in education from Northeastern in 2010.
